Openclaw Colab – Free and Easy – Detailed Step-by-Step Instructions
- Access the Google Colab Notebook:
Open the Colab link provided in the video:
https://colab.research.google.com/drive/119y5n6mkJghJmxNgA8lPFp-TepXoyQd1 - Run the Setup Script:
Click the “Play” button on the first code block to install all necessary dependencies, including Node.js, Chrome, and the Openclaw gateway. - Open the Terminal:
Navigate to the bottom left of your Colab interface and click on the Terminal icon. - Authenticate your Account:
In the terminal, paste the following command to log in:
openclaw models auth login –provider openai-codex
Note: Using a ChatGPT Free account. - Complete the Login:
Copy the URL generated in the terminal and open it in a new tab.
Log in to your OpenAI account and click “Continue.”
Once you reach the “localhost” error page, copy the entire URL from your address bar.
Go back to the Colab terminal, paste the URL, and hit Enter. - Launch Openclaw:
Type “openclaw tui” in the terminal to start the interface. You can now test it by typing “hi” or running the Chrome test script shown in the video.
